2019 Top Nine photos don’t begin to tell the story of this year—so many memories and moments. The toughest moment was loss of my Mama but I do so appreciate the sweet and honest day that I got to spend with her. Lane had a big birthday. I had a big birthday. My hair got whiter. My girls and I went to see PINK in concert and had a precious girls weekend together in Nashville. Lane and Chad spent their guys weekend at the Players Championship. Chad got a promotion and moved to Orlando. Maddie got a new exciting job and moved to Cincy. Sam got promoted at work and pretty much runs the show. My grand-babies started Kindergarten and 3rd grade. Our family spent a wonderful week in Saint Augustine together. I travelled to New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Yosemite, Hawaii, London, Scotland, and Colorado. I spent time outside with my hands in dirt growing flowers, veggies, and grapes. I sat by the water and soaked in the sun at Sweet Bombdiggity. I watched numerous sunsets and a few sunrises. I read 22 books. I looked up into a black night sky and was in awe a million bright sparkling stars. We added a spirited Springer Spaniel puppy to the pack—Lord help us! I gave a thousand hugs (I’m a hugger). I met amazing and inspiring women from all over the world through the Global Sports Mentoring Program at the @espnw Women + Sport Summit @sportandpeaceut. I took some beautiful photographs of wildlife, people, and nature. I interviewed some incredible people. I built @pictureherempowered. I earned my Masters degree. Every year is a blend of good and bad—this year hearts that I love dearly were broken, but they are also mending and finding new confidence. Good friends left this earth far too soon and others welcomed and celebrated children and grand babies—tiny swaddled bundles of new life. There was definitely more good than bad in 2019–I think that of every year. Grateful and blessed to have family and friends that I cherish. Cheers to a bombdiggity 2020–may it be overflowing with gratefulness and goodness for all.
